Certificate Chain Check
Use the Certificate Chain Check Tool to efficiently validate a series of certificates within your SSL chain. This tool ensures that the given chain is consistent and correct.
Certificate Issuer and Subject Comparison: The tool examines the issuer of one certificate in relation to the subject of the following certificate. It verifies that these components match, ensuring a smooth transition in the certificate chain.
Signature Verification: Additionally, the tool verifies that the digital signature of each certificate aligns with the public key of the subsequent certificate. This helps establish the trustworthiness of the entire chain.
Chain Validity Assurance: If the distinguished name (DN) data of both certificates match, and the signature is valid, the certificate chain is deemed valid at that specific point.
Detailed Result Reporting: In cases where a portion of the certificate chain is incompatible with another, the tool clearly highlights and reports these discrepancies, enabling you to address them directly."
Autofix
The Autofix button tries to create a valid chain by swapping the order of the individual certificates. If a valid chain is found, the input is adjusted directly.
